About Medgrade

fighting for healthier homes

MedGrade Remediation was founded after our family experienced firsthand the challenges of hidden mold contamination and the impact it can have on a home, health, and quality of life.

Like many of the clients we serve today, we spent years searching for answers, sorting through conflicting information, and navigating remediation decisions that carried significant consequences for our family's future. That experience gave us a unique perspective on what homeowners are really looking for: honest guidance, clear communication, and confidence that the work is being done right.

Today, MedGrade combines personal experience, advanced training, and decades of leadership and project management expertise to deliver remediation services with exceptional attention to detail, accountability, and craftsmanship.

When it comes to your home and your family's health, details matter.

Megan Cunningham, CPA

Owner & Certified Mold Remediator

Megan is the founder of MedGrade Remediation, a Certified Mold Inspector, Certified Mold Remediator, CPA, and mother of three. She holds a Master's degree in Accounting and served as a Medical Administration Officer in the Air National Guard, where she previously worked as an aircraft jet mechanic before commissioning as an officer. Her military experience reinforced the importance of disciplined processes, operational planning, teamwork, and accountability—principles that continue to shape how MedGrade approaches every project. She has also completed the CIRSx Medically Important Remediation for Professionals course, further strengthening her expertise in health-focused mold remediation.

Her passion for helping families stems from her own family's battle with mold.  For years, Megan watched her daughter struggle with severe health issues that left her searching for answers. After countless appointments, treatments, and dead ends, they discovered the true source of the problem: severe hidden mold contamination in their home.

Like many families, they experienced the frustration of conflicting information, inadequate guidance, and failed remediation attempts. After losing confidence in the process, Megan decided to take matters into her own hands.

Determined to restore her home and help her daughter heal, she immersed herself in mold investigation, building science, remediation protocols, and environmental health. She ultimately performed the remediation herself, coordinated the rebuilding process, and today her daughter is healthy and thriving. That journey not only changed her family's life—it inspired the creation of MedGrade Remediation so other families wouldn't have to navigate the same challenges alone.

Megan believes that every family deserves honest answers, compassionate guidance, and remediation performed to the highest possible standard. Her mission is to help create healthier indoor environments while ensuring clients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the process.
